Students from across campus will travel to Santiago, Chile for three weeks in June 2013. We will depart Buffalo on June 8 and return on July 1. While in Santiago, students will be:
Students will live with host families who provide breakfast and dinner each day. Students are on their own for lunch.
For the first two weeks, we will meet for Spanish class from 9:00 to 1:00 at ECELA. After lunch, we will attend a sociology class that deals with inequality in Santiago. For the final week, we will volunteer time with an organization, Hogar de Cristo, that works on issues related to poverty.
