Internships

Buffalo State's sociology curriculum comes alive with a wide variety of student activities outside of the classroom. From research and professional development opportunities to internships and student organizations, sociology majors and minors are imbued with the theoretical and practical skills to lead in their chosen profession.

Internship in Sociology (SOC488) offers students an opportunity to connect sociological theory with a field research of their own choosing.  Students must successfully complete Practicum in Applied Sociology (SOC486) to be eligible for the internship course.

A wide variety of internships are available; some may coincide with employment.
