One project is based on an archive of letters written by a Confederate ancestor killed in the War. The book doesn't go in a straight line, it swerves, in part from the deleterious effects of vertigo and in part because the writing resembles a man walking on an icy sidewalk while starring at an image of his love on an IPhone. Recent publications are “My Yankee Traitor Heart,” “Open Sky (after Paul Virilio),” and “The Heart and Other Organs of Darkness 2019.”
