Each year during the spring semester, the department recognizes the hard work of our students at the annual end-of-year banquet. The banquet is an opportunity to celebrate our students' accomplishments with friends and family over dinner. After dinner we announce the winners of our department awards, induct new members into the International Honor Society of Sociology (AKD), and recognize the students who made the Dean's List during the fall semester.
